This Vulcan Braising Pan is in EXCELLENT condition both cosmetically and functionally. It was purchased as school surplus and was lightly used and maintained under a service agreement. It has been thoroughly cleaned, serviced and tested and functions 100% with no issues whatsoever. As with all pre-owned equipment, there may be some minor cosmetic imperfections. Rest assured that if any exist, they are minor in nature, cosmetic only and in no way affect the performance.

Description

The Vulcan VE40 tilting braising pan has a 40-gallon capacity and can be used for almost any kind of cooking, from braising and boiling to simmering and steaming. Its cooking plate is clad in stainless steel, which provides scratch resistance and nonstick properties. Because this braising pan has embedded heating elements and FastBatch™ technology, it heats efficiently and speeds up cook times. The pan is 9 inches deep and has embossed measurement marks in gallons and liters. Featuring coved corners, the pan does not have cracks or crevices that make cleanup difficult.

Because it is tilted manually, the Vulcan VE40 tilt skillet ensures removing cooked food is convenient. Food flows over the pouring lip and into a removable, perforated strainer that separates solids and liquids. It can be tilted to a full-vertical position, and when it is tilted 5 degrees or more, the elements shut off automatically.
