This Groen Kettle is in Excellent condition both functionally and cosmetically. It has been fully cleaned serviced and tested and functions perfectly without any issues whatsoever. It was acquired from a local school system where it was barely used and well maintained. As with all previously owned equipment there may be some minor cosmetic imperfections such as surface scratches and minor blemishes. If any exist, they are minor in nature and in no way affect the performance.

This kettle is designed to evenly distribute heat from all sides eliminating hot spots and yielding consistently ideal results. With a self-contained, electric-heated steam source this kettle can accommodate temperatures between 150 and 295 degrees Fahrenheit. The kettle is thermostatically controlled and offers convenience with an auto on /off feature, which will turn the kettle off when the set temperature is reached and will turn the kettle on if the temperature falls below the selected heat setting.

This unit was built with safety and sanitation in mind. All controls are mounted in a water-resistant housing to avoid damage and frequent repairs. The exterior of the kettle has a bright, high-buff finish, adding a sleek touch to your kitchen while allowing for easy cleaning and maintenance. The reinforced rim of the kettle features a convenient butterfly-shaped lip that helps to prevent spills while pouring. Additionally, this unit has a self-locking, smooth-operating, manual tilt crank for added control when transferring food.

With a durable, solid, one-piece welded, 316 stainless steel construction this kettle is sure to stand up in a commercial kitchen. The unit also features tubular, stainless steel legs with bullet feet that can be adjusted as needed. This unit requires a 208V electrical connection

Groen’s tilt design makes product transfer and portioning fast and easy. With larger single batch capabilities, you can reduce repetitive work by eliminating multiple stock pots.
• A Groen kettle can braise that meat, simmer a great sauce or boil three kinds of pasta with fewer pans. And less burn-on means less pot scrubbing. In addition, spilled liquids are more easily released from the high polish surface making clean-up less time consuming for the Operator
• 40 Gallon total capacity.
• Kettle shall be of 316 stainless steel, solid one-piece welded construction
• Mounted in a heavy-duty stainless steel combination kettle support tilt trunnion, which in turn is supported by the polished stainless steel enclosed base
• Furnished with a reinforced bar rim with a welded-in butterfly shaped pouring lip for pouring control and durability
• Interior of kettle shall be polished to a 180 emery grit finish. Exterior of kettle shall be finished to a bright high buff finish, ensuring maximum ease in cleaning and maintaining brilliant appearance.
• Designed to make it possible for one person to tilt kettle, even when kettle is filled to capacity. Smooth action manual tilt allows for easy pouring and transfer of kettle contents.
• Controls shall include a thermostat, built in contactor, safety tilt cut-off, safety valve, water sight glass and heating indicator light and low water cutoff.
• Kettle temperatures of 150F to approximately 295F. Thermostatically controlled to automatically shut off when desired temperature is reached and to turn on when product temperature falls below desired setting.
• Unit shall be factory charged with chemically pure water and rust inhibitors, to ensure long life and minimum maintenance
• Kettle shall have safety tilt cut-off, pressure relief valve, high limit pressure switch and low water cut-off.
